COURSE: Scenic run around the lake at Voice of America Park

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

7:30 AM - Onsite registration                           8:45 AM - Opening Ceremonies

9:00 AM - Official event start                          10:15 AM - Awards Ceremony

WHERE: Begins and ends at

Voice of America Park, by the lake; participants must pay $2.00 per car for entry into the park (cars exhibiting 2008 Butler County Metroparks passes will be free)

WHY: To raise awareness and support for senior health and wellness, meals on wheels, transportation, outreach services and independent living options with the help of Partners in Prime.

RUN DIVISIONS: Men/Women, 14/under, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50- 54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-/over   WALK DIVISIONS: Men/Women, 29/under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

PRE-REGISTRATION: $20 (postmarked by 8/29)       ONLINE available at sprunning.com until 9/3

RACE DAY REGISTRATION: $25

AWARDS: Top Male and Female will win a trophy; top 2 placed Male and Female runners and

walkers in each division as well as top 2 placed teams will also win awards; Individual team members

are eligible to place in their personal category

SOUVENIR T-SHIRT while supplies last

GOODIES: Every runner/walker will receive a souvenir t-shirt while supplies

I hereby waive my right to assert any claim that I may have, now or in the future, against Partners in Prime, formerly Senior Citizens, Inc., all event sponsors and volunteers, the City of Hamilton, Steve Prescott and any individuals having any connection to the event, for injuries, accidents, property losses or hazardous health conditions I might suffer as a result of my participation in this event. I grant full permission for event organizers to use in promotional materials presented in any medium, my name, likeness, image, voice, photographs, videotapes or quotations. This permission is perpetual and worldwide.

WHY: To raise awareness and support for senior health and wellness, meals on wheels, transportation, outreach services and independent living options with the help of Partners in Prime.  This 55 year old organization, formerly Senior Citizens, Inc. has been southern Butler County’s leader on advocacy for seniors, providing health and wellness programs, transportation services, meals on wheels, enrichment and educational opportunities, and companion services for people over the age of 55.
